My Track Record
Building a good marketing team takes time, money and luck. I’ve been blessed to have worked with some great people over the years.
When I started my career in magazines as an editor, I learned how to attune and assign content based on what the readers and subscribers wanted to see. When I was put in charge of helping launch the Vocus Marketing Suite omni-channel marketing SaaS platform, I applied those same learnings, only this time the content took the shape of blogs, emails, press releases and social media posts.
You could say I parlayed the basics of good journalism to marketing, which, thanks to Google and Twitter, fed off of good content. Then I taught myself how search engines work, how social media algorithms work and how my client’s business worked. And I never stopped learning.
